Dedicated Vidalia Onion Lovers live all around You !
They will find You when the word gets out !
Vidalia Onion Lovers will be happy to know they can get their favorite sweet onion from your FFA Chapter or school group. Consumers love to know their dollars are staying in their local schools instead of distant grocery chains.
FFA Chapters and school groups are taking orders now. Sales increase significantly when you presell the onions for several months. Your local news media including newspapers, television, and radio will give you FREE public service advertising. Call them.
Call us toll free at 800-542-0614 or e-mail us and let us know your FFA Chapter or school group is participating. There is absolutely no paperwork. It is all done by phone or email.
No Paperwork -- No up front money !
Contact us again by May 1st and let us know how many bags you will need. We will try to ship the onions in time for distribution or pick up by consumers for the Mothers Day Holiday, the second Sunday in May.
All of the onions will be packed in ten pound bags as seen on our website. We recommend you sell these bags of Jumbo size Vidalia Sweet Onions for $12. After the onions are delivered or picked up by the buyers and the money is collected, send us our share of $6 per bag. You may take up to 30 days to collect the money and send our share. If you decide to sell for more than $12 per bag, you still only send us $6 per bag.
The Onions for Education Program has been designed for simplicity and profitability for school groups and their advisors. By eliminating all paperwork we have made it very easy for teachers, advisors, and students.
We have been in the Vidalia Sweet Onion business for over 26 years. We know the power of Vidalia Sweet Onions. There is a very strong following of Vidalia Lovers all over the country. When these onion lovers discover your FFA Chapter has them for sale, they will literally beat a path to your door.
Please call or email if you have questions, or if you just want to talk about onions! We can put you in touch with FFA Chapters, Band Boosters, Church Groups, and others who know the power of Vidalia Onions.
We are proud to share the progress of the 2009 Vidalia Sweet Onion crop. We will be posting new pictures on a regular basis throughout the growing season. Follow the progress of the crop.
